Vegetable Recipe: Vegetable Asem Betawi

    Broth slightly turbid with a strong acidic flavor interspersed with savory flavors. The contents are also complete. Pumpkin, a young jackfruit, green beans and miscellaneous beans melinjo other. A unique, pieces of vegetable acids oncom make it tasty when eaten hot air.

ingredients:
1 liter of water
150 g seeds young melinjo
300 g young jackfruit, cut into pieces
300 g squash, peeled, cut into pieces
5 pieces of string beans, cut into 3 cm

Other vegetables: sweet corn, beans bogor or peanuts, if desired
5 pieces of a young Javanese acid, boiled until tender
2 red chilies, chopped
2 tsp salt

How to make:

     Boil water with melinjo and young jackfruit.
     Cook until soft jackfruit.
     Add squash and beans.
     Boil again until all vegetables are tender.
     Knead young acid with warm water until blended then strain.
     Pour boiling water into the vegetable acids.
     Add salt, red pepper and oncom
     Cook returned to the boil.
     Lift.
